If you’re anything like me, the return of Texas Longhorns volleyball means one thing: it’s officially volleyball season.
As someone who grew up in Central Texas, I’ve been going to Texas volleyball matches at Gregory Gym since I was a little girl. Some of my favorite memories are sitting in the stands, watching the Longhorns dominate, and dreaming about one day playing on a court like that myself. While the venue may be changing, the excitement definitely isn’t. I’m especially excited to experience games at the Moody Center this season.
After an incredible 2025 season, I can’t wait to see what this team does in 2026.
Texas Volleyball Is Back for 2026
Last season reminded everyone why Texas continues to be one of the premier programs in college volleyball. The Longhorns consistently packed the stands, delivered thrilling matches, and proved once again why they’re always in the national championship conversation.
This year’s schedule has me even more excited.
I’m especially looking forward to the rematches against Kentucky, Wisconsin, and several other powerhouse programs. These are the kinds of matches that every college volleyball fan circles on their calendar, and they’re exactly why tickets disappear so quickly.

Whenever a game is sold out through Texas Athletics, I purchase my tickets through SeatGeek.
